Sigma Solutions named #14

Sigma Solutions climbed to No. 14 on the annual Top 50 Private Companies in San Antonio ranking as published by the San Antonio Business Journal.

This is the fifth consecutive year Sigma Solutions has been recognized. In 2010, Sigma held the 17th spot on the list, a jump from their 20th and 21st positions in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Each year the San Antonio Business Journal surveys local businesses in order to compile the list of successful private companies. The business journal then ranks these companies based on annual revenue. This year’s rankings included revenues from the fiscal year October 2009 – September 2010.

Companies must have at least 50% of their ownership based in San Antonio and must fall into a certain sector. Categories include communications, construction, distribution, entertainment, hotels/restaurant, oil and gas, manufacturing, real estate, transportation and wholesale/retail.
